Another New one - The Garden, Mid Valley

This one is a replica of The Pavilion, but in different style ! Hotel shopping concept .... design of the floors are very similar with Pavilion but different colour concept .... both also about 3 levels .... with almost the same type of key outlets as their tenants except for the two main key ones like Isetan and Robinsons ! Bookshop will be Borders and cinema will be GSC (both also coming soon !) Still very new and many things are still under renovation .... will revisit it in few months to come and will definately be better by then.

For now, if you are serious about shopping in that area it will still be Megamall Midvalley !

New Mall in Bukit Bintang - Pavillion

Been a while since i was around Bukit Bintang area .......

Went over there recently to meet up with a friend from Malacca and found out that the latest mall, The Pavillion, was worth the trip. A really nice hip and high class yet close to the heart mall. Spacious and elegant .... Star Hill meets Mid Valley !

The first look at the entrance is grand and from there you would expect high class shops like what you will find in Star Hill but I was wrong ... its actually a mixture of high & meduim stuffs which makes shopping fun !

The biggest Times Bookshop is located at the highest floor for book lovers. True Fitness will be opening in there as well ... coming soon for fitness or gym freaks !

For cinema goes, will be expecting the latest movies be shown there as well when the cinema opens it doors to movie buffs like myself .....

When I think about it, really would love to go back there again when all the shops are actually opened and its 100% done !

Journey in Singapore

Went over to Singapore for a business visit recently ...... Not gonna tell you about my work there ..... its just the usual boring stuff ...... its the time that i have after my work, that roaming around Orchard Road, all those interesting malls along the street (still the best place to shop in Singapore), eating at Takashimaya (those jumbo Korean sausages ..... mmmm....), and yes, the mega mooncake festival next to Takashimaya food stalls .... well there are, i think about near to 50 mooncake stall with brnads from local Singapore, Malaysia to as far as Hong Kong ....... Singaporean had a great time buying those mooncakes (and I would say in quite a large quantity !) The crowd at the stalls was CRAZY .....

As you can see, the crowd on the weekends ....... testing and buying those fabulous mooncakes.


Seems that the Mid Autumn or Mooncake Festival celebration is quite big over there ..... with human size tanglung, mega display of mooncakes at all major malls, special events etc. Went over to Clarke Quay one of the nights and discovered really interesting lanterns on display !

Did my first trip and checked out the latest mall in Singapore, the Vivo City .... the Mall is just so so lah (still prefer shopping at Orchard Road) .... but, what I liked about the place is the whole feel of the mall's roof top ...... viewing Sentosa Island and the ambience is just a perfect place to stroll around after a heavy meal .... with pool landscape and stuffs......

Well, work aside, i did spend some "so-call" personal time and will treat this as my holiday and time off for the time being, until i get my REAL holiday.


It is only in adventure that some people succeed in knowing themselves - in finding themselves.

Today is a special day that i have decided to create my blog.
Happy birthday to me and my blog !

Something about myself (to begin with, not the usual bio-data stuff but ..... )

My 11 words of wisdom : FIND WHERE YOUR BLISS IS, DON'T BE AFRAID TO FOLLOW IT

Things that I like and Dislike (well if you are interested to know .... but if you don't, skip this part), ........ well, hmm let me see ..... what do I like ?

1) TRAVELLING (on leisure of course !)

The most precious gift to bring back from a journey is the ability to see the extraordinary in the everyday .... guess I am still in that learning process ! That is why i still like to travel .......














2) EATING (being a Malaysian, how can you don't like to do this ? and need I say more on this topic !) ..... maybe I will, I can share many nice eating places that I've been to with everybody (more, if I came across any in future) ..... definately !


3) MUSIC

Well, kinda listen to all sort of music ..... from pop, jazz, dance, trance, hiphop, rock, r&b..... I just like good music !







4) STAYING HEALTHY (a good and balance living lifestyle .... bear with me .... still trying really hard on this .... its easier said than done ... well at least i started off with my gym sessions now and will definately move on further)

5) FRIENDS & FAMILY (the most important thing to me)

My dislike (can i skip this part !!!!! yucks.....) .... I guess its the sense on non belonging and being bored ! Allocating some time alone for yourself is always good but not to the extend of getting and being bored.

There are two ways that we can look and live our lives. One is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is a miracle .... I personally prefer the second choice !
